King Hunter

European Individual Championship 2011 (10)

Entertaining King Hunt from Aix-les-Bains

Malcolm Pein looks at Fedorchuk's fine win from the European Individual and also reports on Anand's rapid win against Kasimdzhanov.
An entertaining king hunt from the European Individual. Black executes a faultless attack as eight of White's last nine moves are with his king. With one to play Judit Polgar was one of the leaders on 8/10 and will surely progress to the World Cup. For Luke McShane a draw should be enough to progress.
