The Korat 2008 Team
Time for 5th. ASEAN PARAGAMES KUALA LUMPUR 2009
Its official, the next Paragames will be in Kuala Lumpur, the games for the visually impaired (VI) and physical handicap(PH) with chess as one of the events be held from 12 to 20 August 2009 at Commonwealth Hall, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
The technical and coaching team lead by sifu with NM Kamal Abdullah, WNM Roslina Marmono, Rizal Ahmad Kamal, Asmah Hambadley, Abdul Haq and Hashim Jusuh initially, and sifu hope to add a few more names awaiting approval and sifu welcome Gregory Lau, MCF Secretary appointed as the Asean Technical Delegate. Welcome Greg to the world of OKU.
The Chess event offers 16 Golds with VI, B1 and B2B3 plus PH men and women categories. MSN set a target this time with 4 Gold medals after a good outing with the 2 first Malaysian chess Golds ever at Korat 2008.
