OKU Chess Championship

1. Petaling Jaya OKU Chess at Kelana Jaya this weekend have been cancelled due to technical problems and lack of participations.

2. OKU LIONS Chess Championship at Berjaya Time Square
Date: 16 May 2010 (Sunday)
Venue:  Berjaya Times Square, Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.
                        (Lower Ground, West Wing (LG-19))
Time:  9a.m-6p.m
Prizes:  Champion  RM500.00
            1st Runner Up  RM300.00
            2nd Runner Up RM200.00
            Seven consolation prizes of RM50.00 each

All OKUs are cordially invited the members of the respective organisations or associations to participate in this meaningful annual event. 

To date 29 participants have registered, trying to reach a 50 participants so all OKUs please register early as we need to calculate the logistics.

3. SBM Blind Chess Individual Championship.

    A closed blind chess championship for individual members of SBM (Society of Blind Chess Malaysia).  It is a national annual championship for SBM members from all over Malaysia.  A 40 participants target is set by SBM with good prize money.

To be played at Bukit Kiara Sports Complex with participants staying in due to reasons of logistics.  Calling all SBM members to play in this championship.

These tournaments are set as the beginning of selection tournaments to pick chess players for Malaysian Paralimpik set for November 2010 in Historical Malacca and Paragames Bandung 2011.
