Why Elephants ??

Our PM been called an elephant ! What ?

Sorry mate don't call Sifu an elephant,
it is an animal going extinct and dying in a developed world, only fit for the zoo or circus..it is actually an insult when it been describe as biggest mammal but only with a tiny brain and smallest being a large pig....check with Wikipedia so blame them. Malaysian elephants are called pygmy.
Sorry Sifu will not proud being called such actually it is just a big insult!
Elephants are scared animals and even there being made gods like the Elephant Temples.
In game of chess, elephants is only rank third in power now being converted in modern chess as Bishops
The game traveled from India, where the elephant [Rook] name came from, then to Arabian, where the vizier / minister name came from [A high official in a Muslim government, similar to Prime Minister, adviser to the King] Then Italy which made the biggest changes to the game, to how we know it now in the modern Western world.
In Russia, Eastern countries and even Germany, Bishop is still known as Elephants so its rank fourth. Remember the late GM Gufeld being nicknamed the elephant man due his use of the Elephants (Bishops) in his games. Memories of this great GM a friend.
