5th September 2009 - The 2009 Putrajaya Chess Tournament was held succesfully at the Dewan Kumuniti Presint 9, Putrajaya. The tournament was orgainsed by Perbadanan Putrajaya. The arbiter incharge was International Arbiter (FIA) Abdul Latiff Mohamad.

Thanks Hairul for blog as sifu needs the fotos as did not bring camera and congrats for being the unbeaten champion of Putrajaya 2009. Repeat it next Ramadan ok.
This yearly Ramadan event at Putrajaya shows that while fasting, chess events can go on attracting regulars, surprise a few familiar seniors from PCMM tournaments before, turning up and not knowing PCMM have been dead and buried. Thats life in Malaysian Chess but this tournament is exclusively for Putrajaya Community and it was smooth sailing for Putrajaya chess community.
