The Final Selection for chess paralimpic athletes and coaches will be on the 8 June 2008 at Asia Room, Stadium National Bukit Jalil. 23 athletes have been identified and 18 will be selected by the MPM/MSN Selection Board.
Chess will be headed by Sifu and Rizal AK and the 16 Golds targeted.
Chess full time training will begin fron 1 August till tournament day, starting the 15 till 19 August at Commonwealth Hall, MSN, Bukit Jalil.
