Anand Wins Again In Wijk Aan Zee

The players got back to work after their first rest day of the Tata Steel tournament and there were three winners in round five of the A Group.
Vishy Anand won his second game with the black pieces, this time overcoming Jan Smeets to push his score to an impressive 4/5 and take the sole lead.
Magnus Carlsen also had a much needed win, but it took him 94 moves against Erwin L'Ami in an error-strewn encounter. Carlsen commented on twitter, "Feels great to have won my first game today, although the game was not great to say the least. Need to play some decent chess again!"
Perhaps this will be the bit of luck that Maggie needs to get his tournament challenge started...
Finally, Wang Hao scored his first win of the event against Alexander Grischuk, thereby leapfrogging over him in the standings.
Luke Mcshane's lead in the B Group narrowed to half a point as he could only manage a draw.  Zahar Efimenko beat David Navara to close the gap.
Group C was once again chock full of decisive games, with only one draw among the seven encounters.  Daniele Vocaturo was one of the winners and stays at the head of the field.
